At Yahoo!Xtra I am an in-house web designer working across the site creating, developing and implementing Yahoo! Applications. This included client branded custom solution sites, web banners, wallpapers and general advertising. Success depended on creating aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly designs that met client objectives while keeping true to the Yahoo! Brand.

I have worked on multiple projects for 42 Below. The first was a competition site called Cocktail World Cup where I was responsible for the overall look and feel of the site while maintaining 42Below's vision and branding requirements. Another big project was designing their file depositary site. The success of the site rested upon a well planned and designed user interface.

Driven by a love of fishing and a nagging father, I have planned, created, designed, developed and nurtured an online solution to New Zealand fishing enthusiasts need for good, free fishing spots. The site has only recently gone live and its success relies heavily upon simple usability and creative design along with custom built applications.

I was involved with creating the brand identity of Initio from the beginning. This included all creative branding elements from logo development to web design. It was important to the client that Initio come across as a trustworthy brand with a modern yet simplistic feel. This was translated with simple and clean design and user-friendly navigation pathways within the site.

Strong emphasis was put on the aesthetics of the brand as it is in a competitive market that demands a certain level of quality.
